Zara: April Faves

Happy Wednesday!

I have totally been MIA for the last month or so, but for a very good reason so I hope you all understand!! I’ve missed blogging and I’ll be getting back into the groove very soon. I started a new job recently and it’s such a refreshing change of environment – the team, company and work are all amazing!

Spring is around the corner and Zara came out with so many cute pieces! Here are a few items that I bought over the course of this month – what do you think?

Lace-up Pointed High Heel Shoes ($59.90)

The heel is just high enough to give you a little extra height while the chunkiness makes it comfortable to wear for a long period of time. I’ve been wearing these to work so far as it’s still chilly in Toronto but I can’t wait to take them out once the weather warms up! The lace-up style is super popular right now and I’ve been looking for a pair that’s great for dressing down and up. Love these!

Tunic with Elastic Waist ($39.90)

I am absolutely in love with this tunic – the light-weight material makes it is so comfortable and the loose elastic waist give it a bit of shape without being a full, tight elastic band waist. The sleeves are 3/4 length, making it easy to layer loose cardigans and leather jackets on top!

Faux Leather A-Line Skirt ($45.90)

Such a good staple to have in any girl’s wardrobe and it comes in 4 colours! It can also be worn throughout the seasons – with tights and tall boots, summer sandals or heels. It’s also not too short – which makes it great for work (my work is pretty relaxed – casual Fridays every day!).

Embroidered Sleeve Top ($25.90)

Loose, boxy and light. The embroidered sleeves are so cute! Just enough embroidery for me. This top will probably look cuter with fitted bottoms or skirt – to give you a bit of shape. Maybe I’ll do a ‘3 Ways to Style’ post to show you how you can style this piece!

Have you swung by Zara recently? I love them and can’t wait to check out the new STC store. Hope you all have an amazing week and thanks for reading! xx
