Hi everyone!

Hope you had a great weekend! I went to a wedding on Saturday and because the ceremony and reception weren’t back-to-back, I was able to do an outfit change for the evening. I LOVE weddings, it’s such a happy moment shared between 2 lovebirds with their closest friends and family. I’ve known my friend since I was 11 so it was needless to say that it was an emotional moment – so happy for the newly wed couple! This is the first of many weddings that I have lined up for this year so I will be sharing more wedding looks and outfits in the upcoming months!

The Ceremony:

Top: Zara – This top is quite fitted and cropped, to make it appropriate for a wedding ceremony, I made sure to pair it with a flowy, high-waisted skirt with a little more length.

Skirt: Small boutique in Seoul, South Korea (I need to go back for some shopping – miss it so much there!). This skirt is one of my favourite statement pieces in my closet. ❤

Bag: Danier Leather

Shoes: Steve Madden (similar ones here, here & here)

The Reception:

Dress: H&M – Once in a while, H&M would have a really great dress that is budget friendly and great for formal occasions. I got this dress for about $60 a few months ago and didn’t get a chance to wear it until now! The back is my favourite.

Necklace: H&M

Shoes: Zara – You can’t really get a good glimpse of them in these pictures but it’s the same ones that I wore in my “Sporty Chic: Weekend Style” blog post.

Snapchat is getting better and more fancy with their filters but I still keep coming back to one of the originals, the flower crown! I mean… who can say no to an instant summer festival princess moment? I’ve listed out the products that I used for the looks above – the ‘day’ and ‘night’ wedding looks are both very similar except I amped up the eye makeup a little more for the night look and added a pair of falsies!

Eyes: NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Ash Brown (This one is comparable to the Anastasia Brow Wiz! I love that the pencil isn’t as soft as the Anastasia Brow.), Carli Bybel Palette, Tony Moly Kinny Gel Pen Liner in Black (my favourite eyeliner!), Kiss False Lashes in 03 (night look)

Lips: Mixed MAC lipstick in Reel Drama & Amorous

Hair: Nume Hair Curler

We really go way back and I’m so glad that we’re great friends. I’m lucky to have these friendships – many more years of great memories and life milestones to come!
