2 Looks: Summer Floral Dress

Sept 2017 - Zara Floral Dress - Cover.jpg

Wedding season is wrapping up for me and I’m finally getting a moment to take a break. This year has been a busy one, I had the honour to be in the bridal party for 3 of the 4 weddings that I attended. I will share with you my experience and photos from all 3 weddings once the professional photos start rolling in! Just in August, I went to an intimate wedding for a good friend that I have known since my elementary school days. I had such a great time and celebrated their marriage with a bunch of my friends.

I bought this floral Zara dress for the wedding and had to fight off the urge to wear it before the wedding. See how I put together the look for the wedding and also how I would dress it down.

Look #1: Wedding Getup

I paired this bold, floral dress with nude strappy heels and a peach coloured jewelled necklace so that it adds a nice touch to the dress without competing with the print.

I’m also really loving this bag I got from Zara, see My Obsession Monday: Suede Crossbody Wallet post for details!

Look #2: Weekend Comfort

I suggest keeping the accessories to nude tones so that it doesn’t clash with the floral pattern so that it keeps the focus on the dress. This look is so comfortable during the hot summer days because the fabric is light and the slits allow you to walk comfortably in this maxi style dress. I bought this hat from Forever 21 last year and although it is not half as expensive as some of my other wide brim hats but I seem to wear this the most!

I’m going to look for ways to wear this dress in the fall since I haven’t gotten enough of it yet!

Thank you for stopping by to read my blog post – hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and the last bit of warm weather in Toronto before the fall weather hits.

xx
